The best salads ever! Try the Insalata alla Griglia... mixed greens, chicken, roasted red peppers, goat cheese and balsamic vinegerette. Delicious, I crave this salad constantly!

Has the most delicious salads, pizzas and pastas, however the service feels somewhat rushed.

Gold Stone Noodle Restaurant
266 Spadina Av
Toronto ON

Hong Kong-style baked pork chop rice is one of my favorite dishes. Its a very popular dish that can be found in most HK Style Cafes. We waited a bit long for it, (20 + minutes) but the wait was well worth it, too bad I couldn't finish the entire plate.

the owner bakes it himself, it tasted like it just came out of the oven, it was crunchy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. They make a great homemade oatmeal cookie as well.

Quesada Mexican Grill

Where Burrito Boyz rates as 9/10 on my burrito scale, Quesada is close - in every way possible! -at 8/10. They finally have a shrimp burrito, and they are a 5 min. walk from work (as opposed to the 10 min cab ride that Burrito Boyz is).

Their burger is made fresh, its juicy and can hold its own in size. They also have a combo where you can get a scoop of Kawartha Ice Cream for $1.

the fudge in between the ice cream and the cake is so gooey and sometimes its warm which then compliments the coldness of the ice cream.

Big Carrot Natural Food Market
348 Danforth Ave.
Toronto ON

I usually go to The Natural Food Depot for my organic needs so I come to big carrot for a fix of my organic lunch and organic juice. My favorite is Feeling Smooth which has Apple, Pear, Celery and Ginger and it all goes down easy.

Big Fat Burrito

Its different from all the other burrito joints, it has a sweet and tangy taste which I liked. But needs to add more meat in order to become #1.

prosciutto, garlic spinach, beef salami, artichoke hearts, bocconcini = Gourment Meaty Magic, and all organic. The price is a little steep but its worth it, I shouldn't have finished small by myself. I think I committed the sin of gluttony again.

It's actually pretty amazing. If you're looking to get better at doing something in the physical world (lifting boxes, pushing cars, killing ninjas) this is the place to train.

Lick's Homeburgers & Ice Cream

Nature Burgers are the best vegetarian burgers I have tasted thus far... for a what I would consider fast food restaurant. Though Fresh - by Juice For Life has arguably the best veggie burgers in Toronto... but I don't consider that fast food per se. Maybe if they open a few more and make me feel less comfortable there!!!
