Don Valley Park

Some great downhills into the ravine that never fail to both thrill and scare the heck out of my boyz.

Local and organic in abundance. Markets like this and the Brickworks evoke the feeling of community and earnestness that you won’t find in any grocery store.

Regent Theatre
551 Mount Pleasant Road , Toronto
It's tie between this, Mt. Pleasant Theatre and Bloor Cinema. I can’t get enough of the old-school movie theaters! I love the scale of the theatres, the seats, the admission booths, and the simplicity. A welcome break from the Disney-esque theatres of today.

Centre for Social Innovation
215 Spadina Avenue, Ste. 120, Toronto
I love the finishes and fixtures in the building – green roof, living wall, original wood beams and hardwood – and the number of amazing businesses and non-profits in this building blows my mind!

I honestly can’t think of a store that better meets my needs, wants, and values than Grassroots.

One of the few places in the city that you can keep pace with fast moving traffic – and it’s a bit of a rush taking a lane and flying down the hill. Hate the ride back up though, so I move west to Poplar Plains!

Don Mills
62 Overlea Boulevard, Toronto
An impressive concentration of mid-century modern homes surrounded by the Don Valley watershed. Walkable and bikeable neighbourhood with tons of greenspace and close to major bus routes.

Don Valley Park

There is nothing better than dropping down into the valley and exploring. You can be 100 feet from the parkway and feel like you are lost in the woods. The valley is full of wonderful wildlife and magical flora, and it is right in my backyard.

Fressen
478 Queen Street West, Toronto
I love going to a restaurant where I can choose from everything on the menu. Creatively plated, interesting combinations, organic and all vegan – dinner out doesn’t get much better!

Nobody covers and uncovers the issues and features that make Toronto a great City to live in the way Spacing Magazine does – so relevant and so interesting, they hit the mark with every issue.
