Aveda Institute and Training Academy
125 King Street East, Toronto
This school is professionally equipped and the apprentices are great! The educators are very encouraging - normally, I wouldn't have any novice cut or colour my hair but they're so professional the only difference with going here and an upscale salon is the price and the time you spent in the chair. Of course it's great that they use their plant-based Aveda products as well.

They offer a wide selection of bikes for all ages -- best of all, they treat you like family. My husband goes there to get the kids' bikes repaired and they always remember his name. Customer service is king!
