Outrageously good food (try the açorda if you're adventurous and very hungry), impeccable service, and a superb wine list. Year after year, Chiado delivers the goods!

everything on the menu is delicious.

this upscale Portuguese bistro has the most delectable fare. the seafood really shines - perfectly seared tuna steaks, the most succulent tiger shrimp. the atmosphere is all dim elegance, and the service is impeccable - waitstaff come and go, delivering drinks and dishes, and clearing others away, without your ever being aware of their presence. i love the between-course table decrumbing - courtesy of your skillful server and a little brass dustpan and brush. : ) eat. drink. be merry.

they have a huge selection of the freshest fish, flown in daily from all over the world. it ain't cheap, but you won't find fresher fish.

they have a tapas bar at the restaurant on the side and it is the real deal - serious Portugese tapas - delicious and the main restaurant is amazing as well!
