Favourite things at St. Lawrence Market (70 Faves)

Grab some food and sit on a picnic bench on the upper level. Even though the view is a parking lot and some condos, it's a very peaceful feeling to eat your lunch under the sun's warmth with the occasional cool breeze.

The people are friendly and most of their stuff is from Ontario farms. A great place for buying meats like turkeys for Thanksgiving!

the st. lawrence market is just one of those places you have to go in order to understand the appeal. there are some really great booths with fresh produce, bakeries, gourmet spreads, pre-made meals ... you name it. it is open until 7:30 which is great for last minute dinners. i would highly suggest their eggplant and tomato stacks found in the basement level across from the fruit stand.

You can get the best peameal bacon here! Also, the cheese shop carries a Smoked Apple Cheddar which is to die for if you eat it with a Granny Smith Apple.
