if you're patient and perservere, you can find a diamond in the rough at a kickass price.

yeah, winners is a great place to find quality clothing at decent prices. i often accent an outfit or even start a whole new one here. note: *some locations are better than others :)

You don't just 'browse' through Winners stores, you roll up your sleeves, turn off your cell phone, and get involved with those clothing racks. While there is some ugly stuff, I've also found amazing designer apparrel (the one in Lawrence Plaza is of noteworthy mention) and it's also the best place to go for little trinkets and housewares. I recommend going alone or with someone who understands the sheer joy of finding that amazing new shirt amid a pile of polka-dotted acrylic suit jackets.

where else? ok, there are lots of other places around t. that can easily compete with the winners prices. however, having such a broad and shallow selection of garments truely is unbeatable anywhere else. although their "designer" is not necessarily REAL designs from the authentic lines, it still has a brand name to make materialistic shoppers feel like they are getting a deal. front st and bloor locations seem to have the most upscale setting and recognizable brands. shop on retail scavengers!

Great stuff and the prices are good

You can find just about anything you need on a weekly basis!

I am very picky when it comes to finding the perfect shoe that looks and feels good, one that I can wear for more than a couple of hours. So, I found the brand Elie Tahari, which fits the arches of my feet perfectly and makes me feel like Cinderella. I can only find them at Winners, and apparently, the only other places to find them is Holt Renfrew's (yeah, right) and Bloomingdale's (which is based in the U.S.).

BECAUSE, it's winners. and, I'm a winner. AHAHHAAH OKAY THAT WAS UGLY.
