Always great food and really nice restaurant

chicken tikka is so fresh & good! the saag is amazing too (the green stuff with the cottage cheese chunks). they deliver!

I grew up in the suburbs - and until now I was yet to find a Toronto indian restaurant that could compete with Mississauga/Brampton. Banjara is '905' good. The service is great and they participate in the bring your own wine program. My favorite is the baingan bharta.

I don't usually go to Indian restaurants, because my mom's cooking is always a zillion times better. But if I must, I go to Udupi Palace on Gerrard Street. The South Indian restaurant is 100 per cent vegetarian, and the dosas they serve are so big that I've seen diners take pictures of them. I, however, always order the channa bathura (chick peas and puffy-ish bread). The chick peas are normally really spicy, but you can request a milder dish.

Located in North York, Mela has an extensive and affordable menu offering Indian fare. Guests can choose to eat in or take out. The lunch menu features combo options, including chicken, beef and lamb as well as a choice of dishes in the meal. For dinner, guests can choose from chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian mains as well as sweet treats and starters.

It’s truly authentic and the Black Cod, Lentil Dahl and Butter Chicken are unbelievably fresh and tasty!

You have never tried butter chicken and naan until you ate here. like butter ;)
