It's truly one of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. The sushi is fresh and the food is presented beautifully. The Ebi dinner in particular is wonderful - giant shrimps and vegetables grilled and seasoned perfectly and accompanied with a ginger dipping sauce.

it is quiet, relatively little known (for now :P), and raved about by all my friends who've lived in or visited japan. delectable a la carte sushi, sumptuous shogayaki sauce, and divine yakitori are just a few highlights. it usually costs around $30.00 for sushi, appetizers, meal, and maybe a dessert, and its worth every penny. it's a short walk from the christie pits and possibly some of the most authentic and enjoyable japanese food in toronto :) yum.

I personally love the chirashi sushi there and the green tea cake. A little hidden gem in Scarborough.

all you can eat, but GOOD Japanese food. The seaweed salad (at dinner) is amazing! Good sashimi, rolls, everything!

the prices are so reasonable, given the quality (freshness + taste) and quantity of the food.

it is definitely not your traditional Japanese restaurant but the space is beautiful and the food is tasty and well-priced.

Okonomiyaki are an underappreciated, simple Japanese dish. This restaurant has the look and feel of a small family restaurant or bar in Japan. The okonomiyaki are delicious and can be made vegetarian, the green tea is delicious and cheap. A great place to go before a matinee at the varsity or cumberland.
