Solferino Cafe

They have in my opinion some of the best gelato in the city. They seem to have new flavours all the time as well.

wandering around st. lawrence one day i came apon this little gem called solferino cafe. to my delight i found the best gelato i have ever experienced! at $3.95 you can get a hefty medium sized cup to fill with one of their 25 flavours made fresh in-store daily ... okay 17 gelatos and 8 sorbettos, but they are still all to die for. my personal fave is ferro rocher and oreo. i will definitely be back someday very soon!

Yummy gelato for a good stroll downtown on Front Street. The Ferrero Rocher gelato is quite good. The mango gelato is AMAZING. Tastes exactly like mango in a cup :)

It's the most authentic tasting with lots of flavours to choose from. I usually end up getting a double scoop of oreo and mochaccino. There is also a park directly across the street which offers the perfect place to enjoy your sweet treat.

I love the gelato, the neighbourhood and especially the quirky paintings hung on the walls (like a cow on a popsicle stick).

It's in a great neighbourhood, the place is adorable, and the gelato flavours are all rich and delicious - plus, they have avocado flavour... wow!

It reminds me of Italy! Solferino's is the reason I bought a place in the St. Lawrence Market area! I only wish that they would allow two flavors in the small gelato serving. It's too hard to choose just one. My faves are Hazelnut and Cafe.

Good gelati is food of the gods. When you can't cross the Atlantic for the real Italian experience, head to Solferino's for smooth, delicious summer treats in new and old favourite flavours. Great atmosphere and location.
